THE CORN COB PIPE MUSEUM in Washington, Missouri, home of the Missouri Meerschaum Company

This quaint riverfront town is known as the Corn Cob Pipe Capital of the World.  For years I had wanted to visit the Missouri Meerschaum Company, but did not have the opportunity until the fall of 2004.  I took full advantage.  I purchased this freehand cob and a coffee mug to commemorate the visit.  I also took a number of pictures of items in the museum which you can view by clicking on the photo of the Worlds Fair display at right.
