Bob Kiess Pipemaker I have been fascinated with the pipe since I was a small boy and thought pipe smokers looked so cool.  I began smoking a pipe in college and carried my interest into medical school.  Many students and professors smoked and we lit up almost anywhere in the medical center.  Those were great days of balanced, sensible people and I look back with much nostalgia.   I began crafting pipes after taking a course with Al Baier at PIMO Pipe Company in Vermont.  Latter I had the privilege of some apprentice work with J.M. Boswell, Paul Bonoquisti, Rolando Negotia, and Lee Erck.  My style is classic and classic variations and I specialize in rustication.  I use Italian and Grecian briar and my beautiful ultrasuade bags are crafted by my wife.                                  Bob Kiess  Click Image to View Available Pipes Please visit my website
