Michael enjoys fishing and hunting in the Canadian outdoors or simply walking through an art museum. He has an ability to channel his respect for nature and art into his pipe designs. For Michael producing fine craft and its appreciation are the rewards of this profession.
Parks Pipes are made by hand, and within each one his exacting standards unite craftsmanship to fine material. Michael pre-selects his briar and travels to an Italian briar mill each year for this purpose. In the past he has ventured to the mountain village of St.Claude, France for briar and pipe lore.
Parks Pipes are respected for their creativity and his designs that exhibit carved elements gain wide recognition, such as the Spirals, the Blowfish Pipes, Art Deco Bent Eggs and The Safari Pipes. As well, he also carves a very fine Billiard.
Parks Pipes are enjoyed around the Globe having been sold in Asia, Europe and North America. Presently Parks attends major pipe shows in North America, and for the future he is directing his focus to International events.
Custom pipe requests are encouraged and if you have a design in mind he will be happy to create you a pipe.
